Sanyati Hospital Extreme Makeover

Your gift will be used to purchase building supplies to renovate Sanyati Baptist Hospital in Zimbabwe. Over the past four years, Zimbabwe has experienced the worst inflation recorded by any nation in the world. As one result, medical fees are not enough to cover the hospital’s daily operating costs and at the same time handle routine maintenance and upkeep. Located in Zimbabwe’s midland province, Sanyati is now one of a few hospitals able to provide essential drugs and supplies to care for patients.  While the hospital has only 110 beds, over 20,000 patients are ministered to either at the hospital or through outpatient clinics and in-home care. Over the next 5 years, 10 to 15 volunteer teams will help renovate the hospital.  Roofing, plumbing, electrical, ceiling and painting supplies will be purchased.
