Frank Page Welcome to the Baptist Global Response (BGR) website! BGR is a newly formed Southern Baptist global relief and development organization focused on connecting people in need with people who care. The "people in need" are the millions around the world who need a touch of compassion in the places they are hurting. These are those suffering from chronic needs such as hunger, poverty and disease. And they are also those that are suffering from acute needs such as disasters, wars and calamities. The "people who care" are the Southern Baptists and Baptist partners all around the world.

Baptist Global Response was created by a number of concerned Southern Baptists who want to help touch lives with the love of God. The BGR Board of Directors and BGR team are people who care deeply about the needs of the world and seeing those needs impacted in a positive way for His Kingdom.
