In-Home Care Kits

Your support will help the In-Home Care Kit project.  Funds will be used to provide materials or to ship materials to those with terminal illnesses-primarily AIDS.  Click here for more information.

Bears & Books for Trauma Recovery

Your gift will help provide children affected by the 2008 Sichuan earthquake a start to the healing process.  Children will be provided a cuddly teddy bear and a set of age-appropriate therapy books.  Click here for more information.

$11 provides one bear and a set of six books to a child.

Zimbabwe Disaster Response

Your gift will be used to support Zimbabweans affected by the country's economic crisis.  Click here for more information.

Adult Education/Literacy

Over one billion people are classified as illiterate.  Many of these are adults who are at a disadvantage when it comes to trying to obtain health care, understand the legal documents in their country, or simply read the news, a book or even the Bible.  Donations will help fund programs providing literacy training to people giving them a better chance in life.

Agriculture and Livestock

Your gift will provide seed, fertilizer, livestock and/or agricultural training to help a family support themselves.

Child-Youth Education

Your gift will provide educational materials and/or opportunities to children and youth in need.

Community Development Projects

Your gift will support Baptist Global Response community development projects such as water resource development, micro-enterprise, education, agriculture or other needs.

Sanyati Hospital Makeover

Your gift will be used to purchase building supplies to renovate the Sanyati Baptist Hospital in Zimbabwe.  Over the past four years, Zimbabwe has experienced the worst inflation recorded by any nation in the world.  As one result, medical fees are not enough to cover the hospital's daily operating costs and at the same time handle routine maintenance and upkeep. Located in Zimbabwe's midland province, Sanyati is now one of a few hospitals able to provide essential drugs and supplies to care for patients.  While the hospital has only 110 beds, over 20,000 patients are ministered to either at the hospital or through outpatient clinics and in-home care. Over the next 5 years, 10 to 15 volunteer teams will help renovate the hospital.   Roofing, plumbing, electrical, ceiling and painting supplies will be purchased.
