“Shout for joy, O heavens! And rejoice, O earth! Break forth into joyful shouting, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted His people and will have compassion on His afflicted.” Isaiah 49:13

According to the Department of Community Health in India, Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) is a leading cause of death.  BGR partner Bangalore Baptist Hospital works in three primary health centers covering a population of approximately 35,000. The clinics provide curative services for minor health problems.  Often hypertension and diabetes are detected during routine screenings.  Now the hospital is planning to provide preventive health education programs in the community and regular treatment for those detected to have these diseases.  Pray for unified vision, commitment, and a spirit of servanthood among staff of the Community Health Department.  Ask God to provide all of the resources needed for this project.
